I am a highly experienced; dedicated, and qualified Licensed Professional Counselor with over 35 years of experience in the counseling field. I am currently in private practice; providing cognitive-behavioral therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. I provide treatment for anxiety/stress, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, compulsive disorders and other behavioral issues, family counseling, relationship and marriage counseling, domestic abuse counseling, physical and sexual abuse, and transgender identity. I was initially licensed as a Psychological Therapist with the Ohio Board of Psychology in 1992 and have been licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 1999. I am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW) in Texas as well. Experience with supervising counselor interns, teaching as an adjunct professor at Texas A&M Int'l University, supporting graduate practicum and internship students. Provide treatment services for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and accepts most commercial and Medicaid plans.
